xBelt conveyor belt deviation is easy to cause partial or full conveyor spraying, belt edge wear and even the risk of broken belt, not only affect the safety of production, shorten the use of the tape time, but also cause significant economic losses.

After investigation, it was found that the problems existing in the manufacturing quality, construction and installation, layout and selection, and on-site maintenance of the belt conveyor equipment are the main factors causing the tape deviation, and the common ones are:

(1) There is an error in the manufacture of the cylindrical cylindricity of the driving cylinder and the reversing cylinder;

(2) The stiffness of the frame is poor, resulting in deformation;

(3) unilateral roller bearing rotation is not flexible, or the roller is stained with dirty debris;

(4) the deviation device is not used in the design or the deviation device does not work;

(5) The center line of both sides of the tape does not coincide, or the edge of the tape is seriously worn;

(6) the driving drum is not parallel to the center line of the reversing drum;

(7) the center line of the driving drum is not perpendicular to the center line of the frame;

(8) There is an error in the installation of the feeder, discharger and cleaner;

(9) The direction and height of the incoming material of the belt conveyor are unreasonable.

From the above analysis, it can be seen that there are many factors that cause the tape to run off, but the result is that the force of the tape in the movement is unbalanced, forming a horizontal sub-speed perpendicular to the direction of the belt speed.
